Welcome to the CHOP SHOP. This cutting-edge docusoap follows bad-boy hair salon owner Daniel Hudon and his crew of
punk rock stylists as they get into each other’s hair. This counter-culture group forms a tight, rock & roll family who work, fight
and party hard under the same roof while delivering wicked style to their clients at this one-of-a-kind hair salon in Vancouver.

Amber - The Sweetheart

One of the original Choppers and Procter’s girlfriend, Amber has a fresh faced, straight-laced nature. This may make her stick out from all of the rest of the tattooed, loud mouthed rock n’ rollers in the shop, but she’s still a favorite among the Choppers. However, her distrust of Daniel
and his power over Procter can bring out Amber’s stubborn streak. She often sides with the Choppers in their fights against Daniel, leaving Procter stuck between his buddy and his gal.

The Lowdown

HAIRDO'S & DON'TS

Do take care of your hair. I'm not a product pusher, but using a good professional shampoo and conditioner won't strip out your colour or coat it with waxy fillers -- leaving it limp and greasy.

Do choose a hair colour that suits you. When you're thinking of what colour will look best on you and your complexion, stick to 3 levels lighter or darker than your natural hair colour. This also prevents you from seriously damaging your hair. Once hair is fried, your future hair wishes become very limited.

Don't try to pull a fast one. Comb-overs are NOT convincing!

Do be nice to your hairdresser! If you come in overly anal and distrustful of our skills, you're not only stressing yourself out, but us also. This only leads to a frustrating experience for both of us and most likely a half-ass job.

Don't get too attached to it. It's just hair! It grows back! If it's long and nasty, cut it!

Don't wear adult pigtails -- just don't! Just because you don't know how to style your own hair, that doesn't mean two pig-tails or braids will do!

FIVE TIPS FOR SCRAPBOOKERS

Ditch all the pre-fab scrapbooking accessories and cut-outs! I look back on my old scrapbooks from years ago and it looks like I was a middle-aged housewife scrapbooking my teenaged daughter's highschool years. So use your imagination. Keep ticket stubs, rip up old magazines and doodle. Be creative!

Just do it! %$# happens to people's computers all the time. It sucks always crowding around someone's computer to look at pictures. I love being able to look up close and hold on to a picture, pass it around and share the awesomeness of it! And this way, there's always a hard copy.

Candid pictures rule! Super posed, pretty pictures get boring pretty quick. It's those candid ones that you got by a fluke that speak a million words and hold the most memories. Sometimes you just have to be a camera creeper and catch people when they least expect it.

Glueing your friend's heads onto magazine pictures is always a good time!

Don't be ashamed of it. People may poke fun, but when it all boils down they always wanna look thru it!
